[Largest in Kyushu] 14 Types of Pretzels Gather! 'Pretzel Fest' in Aso on April 25th & 26th + Golden Week Fair!

Kosugi Resort in Aso, Kumamoto, will host the 'PRETZEL DAY FESTIVAL' on Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, 2026. This event, which received great acclaim last year, returns for its second edition on an even larger scale, featuring a total of 14 types of pretzels. Additionally, the 'PRETZEL DAY FAIR' will be held until May 10, designed to be enjoyed throughout the Golden Week holiday period.

## Second Edition Scaled Up to Become Kyushu's Largest Pretzel Event

This event was first held last year with the theme of Kosugi Resort's signature pretzels and attracted many visitors. In response to that success, this second edition will be expanded in scale, establishing it as 'Kyushu's largest pretzel event.'

### What is [World Pretzel Day]?

April 26 is 'Pretzel Day,' established by the National Pretzel Bakers Association in the US. The goal is to increase pretzel consumption and share its charm widely. Last year, during the first festival, over 4,500 pretzels were manufactured in about 10 days, recording immense popularity. Due to this response, the second event was greenlit.
