This year’s theme is "Summer Delights for the Whole Family," featuring a wide array of dishes that combine crab and eel, including course meals, set menus, casual lunch options, and children’s menus. The festival is designed for three-generation family gatherings during summer vacation and the Obon homecoming season.

The "Unagi Festival" at Kora Honten is a limited-time summer event that pairs the season’s popular ingredient—eel—with the restaurant’s signature crab dishes. This year’s lineup includes a broad selection of offerings centered around the theme of family enjoyment, from course meals and set dishes to lunch specials and kids’ menus.

Highlights of this year’s festival include the "Ippon Unagi Gohan" (Whole Eel Rice Set), featuring a full eel grilled and served dramatically over rice, and the visually stunning "Crystal Three-Tier Bento" set. These dishes are designed to be Instagram-worthy and memorable.

The popular "Hamana" course, a longstanding favorite, features luxurious servings of crab and eel rice bowls along with a variety of crab dishes, making it ideal for family gatherings and special dining occasions.

The festival also includes lunch options where guests can enjoy eel and crab served with kama-kiri white rice, allowing customers to experience the flavors of a specialty restaurant in a more casual setting. Additionally, the "Children’s Mini Unagi Set" ensures that even families with young children can dine with ease and comfort.
