Konami Digital Entertainment is pleased to announce the release of 'Pro Yakyu Spirits 2026' (hereinafter 'Pro Spirits 2026': PlayStation®5, Steam®), the latest installment in the 'Pro Yakyu Spirits' series, on July 16, 2026.

The game is available in over 200 countries and regions (※¹). It includes the '2026 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC™' mode, marking the first inclusion of the WBC in the home console 'Pro Spirits' series in 17 years (※²). Players can enjoy the 2026 Japanese national team as well as past championship-winning Japanese teams. You can also compete against national teams from countries and regions participating in the 2026 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC™.

Additionally, the game features popular modes such as 'Miracle of the White Ball,' where you become a high school baseball coach aiming for national dominance, and 'Star Player,' where you experience the life of a professional baseball player. Before the match, both players reflected on their time representing Japan. Regarding the 2006 tournament, Wada said, 'Carrying the Japanese flag on my back, I truly felt a great weight. It really did.' He spoke about the pressure of playing for the national team.
