"Momotaro Dentetsu" Fully Cooperates Again This Year with "Regional Revitalization SDGs Fes," Held for the First Time in Tokyo! Depart for Tokyo Big Sight from September 25th to 27th!

Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as KONAMI) will promote Regional Revitalization SDGs, an initiative in collaboration with the Cabinet Office's Regional Revitalization Promotion Office, again this year. We are pleased to announce that we will be providing content for "Momotaro Dentetsu" at the "Regional Revitalization SDGs Fes in GOOD LIFE Fair 2026" to be held in September (Operated by The Asahi Shimbun Company).

"Momotaro Dentetsu" is a national board game that has been enjoyed by a wide range of age groups for approximately 38 years. The game, which involves traveling across Japan in a dice-rolling format and purchasing local specialties and famous sites as properties, has a very high affinity with regional promotion, and we have carried out numerous collaborations with railway companies, theme parks, museums, and other entities across the country. We aim to further contribute to regional revitalization by utilizing the content of "Momotaro Dentetsu." Since 2024, we have been working on "Regional Revitalization SDGs" in collaboration with the Cabinet Office's Regional Revitalization Promotion Office.

As part of these efforts, last year we provided "Momotaro Dentetsu" content for the "Regional Revitalization SDGs Fes" at the 2025 Japan International Exposition (EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai). We also launched the "Momotetsu White Map" project, where local governments across the country can register recommended tourist destinations, local specialties, and regional promotion initiatives as "properties" in "Momotaro Dentetsu," allowing them to promote their attractions in a more accessible way.

At the "Regional Revitalization SDGs Fes in GOOD LIFE Fair 2026" to be held at Tokyo Big Sight this September, you can experience various initiatives from different regions, such as solving regional issues and forming a sustainable society, through "Momotaro Dentetsu" content. We invite you to this participatory event where you can "learn while having fun" at the forefront of Regional Revitalization SDGs.

We will continue to cooperate in promoting "Regional Revitalization SDGs" with the Cabinet Office's Regional Revitalization Promotion Office and local governments across the country, utilizing the content of "Momotaro Dentetsu" and contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.

"Momotaro Dentetsu" is a dice-rolling game where players become presidents, collect properties in various regions, and aim to be the wealthiest. Since the release of the first title in 1988, the series has sold over 20 million copies and has been enjoyed by a wide range of age groups for 38 years. The latest title, "Momotaro Dentetsu 2 ~ Your Town Surely Exists ~," released on November 13, 2025, has surpassed a cumulative shipment of 1 million units.

Furthermore, since 2023, we have been providing "Momotaro Dentetsu Educational Edition Lite ~ Japan is Interesting! ~," which runs on laptop PCs and tablet devices, free of charge to educational institutions. Of the over 14,600 schools that have adopted it, approximately 7,900 are elementary schools, which corresponds to about 40% of all elementary schools nationwide.
