A Journey to Meet Bonds. "Suikoden" Series New Mobile Game "Suikoden STAR LEAP" Pre-registration Now Open!

Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. has started pre-registration for the new mobile game in the "Suikoden" series, "Suikoden STAR LEAP" (hereinafter referred to as "Genso SP"), on the "App Store" and "Google Play" starting July 1 (Wed).

The "Suikoden" series is an RPG series where over 108 unique characters appear in each installment, allowing players to enjoy a deep story themed around war.

This title is the first for mobile and, as part of the official canon of the "Suikoden" series, a new story of 108 Stars will unfold, centered around the true Rune of "Rune of Change."

Please register and await the release! *Pre-registration is only available in Japan. Information regarding global pre-registration will be announced at a later date.

In the information program "Suikoden Live" vol. 6, broadcast on YouTube on July 1 (Wed), the opening animation depicting the game's world was revealed for the first time! We also touched upon new locations visited during the adventure and re-introduced the features of "Genso SP," such as battles and the base. Furthermore, a先行実機プレー (early hands-on gameplay) by Mirai Sasaki, Aimi, and Ayasa Ito, who voice the skilled bodyguard "Ran Rinten," was also shown. Please watch it!

A New Story Woven as the Official Canon of the "Suikoden" Series

"Suikoden STAR LEAP"

There are 27 True Runes said to have created the world.

"Rune of Change" is one of them.

The year is Solar Calendar 453. A sudden tragedy strikes a lakeside village east of the Scarlet Moon Empire.

An attack by mysterious enemies. Homes engulfed in flames. People fleeing in confusion.

After the threat has passed, the protagonist resolves to rebuild the village with Hyu, Seileen, and Shapur.

On their journey, the protagonist and their companions become caught in the great currents of history.

What is the empire's atrocity that torments the people? What is the destiny guided by encounters with various individuals such as Viktor, Flick, and Odessa?

A small adventure eventually transforms into a grand ambition.

"Just for one person."

Battle

"Genso SP" adopts a timeline turn-based battle system. Progress through battles by utilizing normal attacks, attacks using Runes, and special techniques that can be activated by filling a gauge.

In the story, large-scale "wars" involving multiple units will also occur. Use your characters' combat skills to gain an advantage in battle!

Base

At the base, facilities that will help you progress through your adventure will be unlocked one after another as you gather unique companions. Some characters, when recruited, will allow you to play special mini-games! You can also obtain materials and ingredients essential for weapon enhancement, and by preparing dishes using the collected ingredients and serving them at "meals," you can deepen your bonds with your companions. Furthermore, requests and troubles from companions will be posted in the suggestion box installed at the base. By resolving these, you may even receive unexpected rewards--.
