Kokoromil Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Daiki Hayashi; hereinafter "Kokoromil") is pleased to announce the survey results from participants (60 individuals) of the resident health management support project utilizing "Home Cardiac Dock pro," conducted in collaboration with Miyake Town, Nara Prefecture (Mayor: Isao Mori).
Background and Objectives
Miyake Town aims to "establish preventive medicine" among its residents and has pioneered the introduction of "Home Cardiac Dock pro," which enables high-precision electrocardiogram analysis at home. This study verified how providing opportunities to visualize potential disease risks in daily life contributes to actual behavioral changes for individuals who find it difficult to visit a hospital.
1. Did you visit a hospital after receiving a C grade for arrhythmia?
Among the participants who received a C grade (requiring re-examination, detailed examination, etc.) for arrhythmia, 93% responded that they "already went to the hospital" or "plan to go."
This demonstrates that the test functions not merely as screening but as a "health gatekeeper" that connects individuals to appropriate medical care.
2. Were you able to take the test without issues? Could you understand the report?
98% responded that they "could take the test without issues." The high completion rate and the convenience of not needing to visit a hospital were highly praised.
Regarding the report content, all respondents (100%) answered that they "could understand it," leading to a sense of satisfaction with their health status.
3. Have there been changes in your awareness regarding sleep, stress, lifestyle habits, or diet?
62% responded that the test prompted them to "increase their awareness of stress relief and sleep quality."
As improvement actions, this has led to concrete lifestyle changes such as "refraining from using smartphones before bed," "practicing deep breathing," and "paying attention to salt and fat intake."
4. Did you feel the need to take this test regularly?
93% responded that they "felt the need to take this test regularly."
These results indicate an increased awareness of preventive medicine, which involves regularly checking one's health status in daily life, rather than "waiting for an abnormality to appear before seeking medical attention."
5. Extremely High Resident Satisfaction
100% of participants responded that they "want to take it regularly in the next fiscal year and beyond."
98% responded that they "want their family and loved ones to take it," indicating its establishment as a trusted public service among residents.
Resident Voices (Excerpts from Free Descriptions)
It's convenient to be able to easily test at home without going to the hospital.
It's a valuable initiative for the town to implement, as individuals rarely have the opportunity to take such tests.
It made me feel my body working even while I slept, and it became a trigger to review my lifestyle habits.
I want to know what specific actions to take based on the results and the criteria for seeking medical attention.
Even if full coverage is difficult, I hope the system with partial subsidies will continue.
I want to measure my condition on a workday, not on a holiday.
It was good to know that the palpitations I've been feeling recently require treatment.
Future Outlook
Based on these demonstration results, Kokoromil will promote the enhancement of specific post-diagnosis guidance and the development of a more convenient operational system. Furthermore, building on the successful model in Miyake Town, we will deepen collaboration with other municipalities and contribute to the realization of a society that "prevents illness before it occurs."

[Performance Report] Arrhythmia Signs Screened in 40% of Residents—Home "24-Hour" High-Precision Electrocardiogram Test Visualizes "Hidden Cardiac Risks" in Working-Age Population Through Public-Private Partnership Program with Miyake Town, Nara Prefecture
Project Background and Overview
Miyake Town recruited monitors from all residents, utilizing our "Home Cardiac Dock," which allows for hospital-level high-precision testing from home without the need for hospital visits. The aim was to strengthen outreach to the child-rearing and working generations, particularly for the early detection of "hidden arrhythmias" that can be overlooked by routine health checkups.
Implementation Period: April 2025 - February 2026 (upon completion of testing)
Target Participants: 80 volunteers residing in Miyake Town
Test Content: Visualization of arrhythmia, signs of sleep apnea syndrome (SAS), and stress through long-term electrocardiogram measurement.
About Home Cardiac Dock pro
"Home Cardiac Dock pro" is a long-term electrocardiogram testing service performed at home.
A small electrocardiograph is attached to the chest, acquiring electrocardiogram data for over 9 hours. The results are analyzed by a clinical laboratory technician and provided as a report. Long-term electrocardiogram measurement can detect hidden cardiac risks that may not be found in the conventional 15-second tests during standard health checkups or medical examinations.
Furthermore, it detects signs of sleep apnea syndrome (SAS), sleep quality, and stress all at once.
An online clinic is also available, allowing users to consult with a doctor from home or receive a referral letter to a university hospital if desired.
While using medical devices, "Home Cardiac Dock pro" allows for easy medical-grade testing at home without the hassle of hospital visits. It is popular among busy middle-aged and elderly individuals, as well as those in remote areas or the elderly who have difficulty accessing medical facilities.
