Koikeya Co., Ltd. (President: Akira Sato) conducted an independent survey regarding its long-selling brand 'Polinky', launched in 1990. The results revealed that its unique deliciousness has not been conveyed to young people at all.

'Polinky' is a corn snack characterized by the subtle sweetness of corn dough and a crispy, melt-in-your-mouth texture. It has been patronized by many customers as a family snack to be enjoyed by parents and children, familiar with the cute characters 'Three Polinkies' modeled after 'Polinky', and thanks to you, it has marked its 36th anniversary since its launch in 1990.

Recently, we conducted an independent survey* regarding the 'Polinky' brand. It was found that in the categories of 'an addictive taste', 'a light texture', and 'fun to eat'—which Polinky eaters consider the three major values of the taste—the satisfaction points among Generation Z (ages 14-29) scored overwhelmingly low.

Based on these results, moving forward, we will clarify the value of the 'Polinky' brand and implement initiatives to help younger generations know more about 'Polinky' and like it even more.
