Live-Action Dating Sim 'Ham-Koi' Releases Steam Demo on May 28th! Wishlist Campaign Now Open!

Kodansha Ltd. will release the demo for 'Ham-Koi: My Days as a Reincarnated Hamster Pampered by Three Sisters,' a live-action dating simulation game born from a collaboration between Kodansha Game Lab and the photo magazine FRIDAY, on Steam on May 28, 2026. The game will also participate in the 'Steam Next Fest' held from June 16 to June 23, 2026 (JST). The full product version is scheduled for release in July 2026.

This game features a novel concept where the protagonist, reincarnated as a hamster, is kept by three beautiful childhood friend sisters and pampered in a realistic live-action setting. The heroines are played by gravure idols Sayaka Tomaru, Momoha Takatsuru, and Shiori Ikemoto. Players can experience the thrilling cohabitation life from the perspective of a hamster, either from inside the cage or from the sisters' hands.

To celebrate the demo release, a wishlist registration campaign is now underway until June 23, 2026. Winners will receive exclusive polaroids of the three performers and Amazon gift cards.

Despite an incident last year where the Steam page was removed, it was restored in April after revisions. The game's bizarre concept and beautiful visuals have garnered international attention, with outlets like 'AUTOMATON WEST' covering it as a 'crazy Japanese live-action game.'
