The regular edition cover of ViVi's July/August combined issue features Aika Murakami, highly praised among ViVi models for her strong visual appeal. Her refined beauty and maturity now add even more power to her presence.

This shot was originally taken as the main visual for the "ViVi Cosmetics Award," a major biannual beauty project that is a highlight of this issue. However, it perfectly aligned with the overall concept of "Our Reality," as heralded on the cover, which means "this one issue tells you everything about the ViVi generation's fashion, beauty, and way of life!" And above all, the photo is simply strong and cute! Because of this, it was urgently selected for the cover, an unusual turn of events.

On the day of the photoshoot, even as the photographer was clicking the shutter, staff members jokingly said, "This is so flashy and cute, why not just make it the cover?" And surprisingly, it became a reality!
