"Inheritance of Soul" Exhibition Featuring Subaru Sato's BRZ and Takumi Fujiwara's Hachiroku! "Initial D Never Ends" Event for "Subaru and Comet" Volume 2 Release to be Held in Front of Shibuya Stream!
Kodansha is holding an event in Shibuya to commemorate the release of Volume 2 of the manga "Subaru and Comet," featuring an exhibition of cars belonging to the new and old protagonists.

Volume 2 of "Subaru and Comet," the latest work following the legendary street racing manga "Initial D," which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, and its sequel "MF Ghost," both drawn by Shuichi Shigeno and serialized in Kodansha's "Young Magazine," will be released on Friday, March 6th.
To commemorate this, the "Initial D Never Ends" event for the release of "Subaru and Comet" Volume 2 will be held for two days, Saturday, March 28th, and Sunday, March 29th, at Inaribashi Plaza in front of Shibuya Stream.
The dream of being the fastest on public roads, pursued by Takumi Fujiwara, the protagonist of "Initial D," is inherited by Subaru Sato and Subaru Kudo, the two "Subarus" who are the protagonists of "Subaru and Comet."
Therefore, an "Inheritance of Soul" exhibition will be held, featuring Subaru's beloved car, the "BRZ" (Subaru BRZ), from "Subaru and Comet," displayed alongside Takumi's beloved car, the "Hachiroku" (Toyota AE86).
Furthermore! A "phantom reprint of Volume 1" of "Initial D," the "story where it all began," will be distributed in a limited edition of 2,000 copies.
