"Subaru Sato's BRZ" and "Takumi Fujiwara's Hachi-Roku" side-by-side: A "Legacy of the Soul" exhibition! "#InitialDNeverEnds" event to be held at Shibuya Stream to celebrate the release of Volume 2 of "Subaru and Comet"!

Volume 2 of "Subaru and Comet," the latest work by Shuichi Shigeno—the creator of the legendary street racing manga "Initial D," which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, and its sequel "MF Ghost"—will be released on Friday, March 6th, in Kodansha's "Young Magazine."

To commemorate this, we will hold the "Subaru and Comet" Volume 2 release event, "#InitialDNeverEnds," for two days on Saturday, March 28th, and Sunday, March 29th, at the Inaribashi Square in front of Shibuya Stream.

The dream of being the fastest on the public roads, pursued by "Initial D" protagonist Takumi Fujiwara, has been passed down to the two "Subarus" of "Subaru and Comet": protagonists Subaru Sato and Comet Kudo.

To honor this, we will hold a "Legacy of the Soul" exhibition featuring Subaru's car from "Subaru and Comet," the "BRZ" (Subaru BRZ), parked alongside Takumi's car, the "Hachi-Roku" (Toyota AE86).

Furthermore, we will be distributing 2,000 limited-edition copies of the "phantom reprint of Volume 1" of "Initial D," the story where it all began.
