A book featuring precious shots, including the "motherhood of Sodashi" and the growth of her foal, which have never been revealed before, titled "Sodashi and Foal Photobook Heritage of White," will be released on Friday, March 27th, at bookstores nationwide and online.
In January 2025, Sodashi, the white-haired idol horse who won three G1 races, gave birth to her first foal, a filly, with Equinox as the sire. With permission for photography and cooperation for interviews from owner Makoto Kaneko Holdings Co., Ltd. and Northern Farm, photographer Masaaki Miyazawa captured the "Sodashi and foal" pair, who inherit a historic bloodline, in Hokkaido.
To commemorate the release, a special exhibition of the photobook will be held at the Tower Records Shibuya 2F exhibition space from Friday, March 27th, to Tuesday, April 7th. A special campaign is also underway where customers who purchase the book at the store will receive a limited-edition Shibuya store postcard on a first-come, first-served basis.
