Background and Purpose of the Renewal

In the construction industry, the aging workforce and labor shortages have become serious social issues. To address these challenges, further expand its housing development business, and ensure technical succession to the next generation, the Company Group has renewed its high school recruitment site to hire 30 high school graduate carpenters and craftsmen.

With this renewal, the Company aims to further strengthen the recruitment of talent who will drive its growth strategy.

Initiatives by the Company Group

● Direct Employment and Enhanced Training of "Employee Craftsmen"

Instead of hiring craftsmen as independent contractors (individual foremen), the Company Group directly employs them as "employee craftsmen" and focuses on their development and training.

● Comprehensive Support System to Train Professionals from Scratch

Before assignment, new hires undergo basic training. Afterward, the "Mentor-Mentee System" is implemented, where senior staff provide one-on-one guidance. Additionally, technical skills are evaluated through the company's unique "Master System." This ensures that even inexperienced individuals can confidently develop lifelong skills and build long-term careers.

Key Features of the Renewal

This renewal significantly restructured the previous site to evolve into a platform that delivers messages and information thoroughly aligned with the perspectives of high school students (Generation Z). To dispel common preconceptions and anxieties among students—such as "Is the craftsman’s world strict and intimidating?"—the Company has created new content featuring candid, authentic voices from younger employees of similar age.

Furthermore, the site visually and clearly illustrates the "growth steps (career path)" from beginner to professional, as well as reassuring working conditions such as 120 annual holidays. This content design aims to provide peace of mind not only to high school students but also to career guidance teachers and parents. (Note 1)

Future Plans

Following this renewal, the Company plans to publish additional interviews with young high school graduate employees who are actively working as carpenters and craftsmen.
