(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kei Takeuchi) has conducted one of the largest residential satisfaction surveys and compiled the 'E-heya Net Livability Ranking 2026 <Niigata Edition>' and 'E-heya Net Desired City Ranking 2026 <Niigata Edition>'. Key points of the Livability Ranking: Chuo-ku, Niigata City ranked 1st for the 2nd consecutive year, followed by Seiro Town and Nishi-ku, Niigata City. Chuo-ku is the most populous ward in Niigata City, serving as the economic and administrative center with the prefectural government, city hall, and numerous commercial facilities. Niigata Station serves as a terminal with multiple lines, including the Joetsu Shinkansen, making the area highly convenient. Key points of the Desired City Ranking: Chuo-ku, Niigata City ranked 1st for 8 consecutive years. Tokyo 23 Wards ranked 2nd for 5 consecutive years, and Nagaoka City ranked 3rd for 2 consecutive years. 78.4% of respondents are positive about their current city.
