Daito Kentaku Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & CEO: Kei Takeuchi), as part of its CVC (Corporate Venture Capital) activities, has partnered with Anyplace Japan K.K. (Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & CEO: Satoshi Naito, hereinafter 'Anyplace'), which operates a residential platform for remote workers originating from Silicon Valley.
This partnership is part of the 'CVC and SME/Startup Matching Support Project' promoted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. As the first step of this collaboration, the group will begin operation of 'Luxudear Shiba Koen' (13th floor, Tokyo Tower view), a high-grade apartment in Minato Ward managed by Invance Co., Ltd., as a 'professional-grade workspace-equipped residence' specializing in foreign business professionals.
In response to growing business inbound demand, spurred by the new 'Digital Nomad Visa' residency system, there is a shortage of domestic properties that combine 'short-term contracts' with 'advanced work environments.' Through this partnership, the group aims to solve the challenges faced by visiting foreign business professionals and meet new residential needs by introducing Anyplace's world-standard workspace expertise into our managed properties, creating an environment where tenants can start working immediately upon move-in.
Positioning this property as the first 'social implementation model' born from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's support project, the companies will verify tenant needs and operational results. Moving forward, they aim to leverage the vast rental property assets managed nationwide to expand residential infrastructure for global talent and drive the creation of new value in Japan's rental market.
