Keisei Electric Railway Signs Official Partnership with MLB and Launches Promotional Campaign Featuring Los Angeles Dodgers' Roki Sasaki

Keisei Electric Railway (Headquarters: Ichikawa, Chiba; President: Takao Amano) is pleased to announce that it has signed an official partnership agreement with Major League Baseball (MLB) starting in the 2026 fiscal year. As part of this partnership, the company will launch various promotional campaigns featuring Roki Sasaki of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Keisei Group, including Keisei Electric Railway, operates transportation and other businesses primarily in the Tokyo metropolitan area. We support the daily lives of those along our railway lines, manage transport to Narita Airport, and promote regional tourism through a diversified business portfolio. Our 2030 Group Vision states: 'We will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through co-creation with the people in the Keisei Group's business areas and by contributing to the strengthening of the functions of Narita Airport, the gateway to Japan.' Through these promotional activities, we aim to increase interest in the Keisei Group and share our vision and various initiatives with a wider audience.

■ Regarding the Appointment of Los Angeles Dodgers' Roki Sasaki

Keisei Electric Railway has previously collaborated with Roki Sasaki, drawing parallels between his 160 km/h pitching speed and the 160 km/h top speed of the 'Keisei Skyliner,' which connects Keisei Ueno Station and Narita Airport Station. We have also worked on promotional campaigns to attract visitors to the Skyliner in his home region of Tohoku. We have chosen to feature Mr. Sasaki because his sincerity, daily dedication, and success on the world stage reflect our own ideals as an infrastructure and lifestyle conglomerate that supports safe daily life, as well as our spirit of challenge and hope for the future through airport transportation.

We plan to roll out various initiatives, including new TV commercials, in the near future.

【Roki Sasaki Profile】

Born November 3, 2001, in Rikuzentakata, Iwate Prefecture. Professional baseball player (Pitcher/Right-handed). While attending Ofunato High School in Iwate, he recorded a top speed of 160 km/h, gaining attention as the 'Monster of the Reiwa Era.' He was selected in the first round of the 2019 draft by the Chiba Lotte Marines. In 2022, he achieved the 16th perfect game in NPB history and set a new professional baseball record with 13 consecutive strikeouts. In 2023, he contributed to Japan's victory in the World Baseball Classic. He subsequently moved to Major League Baseball and is currently with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He demonstrated his presence in MLB by contributing to the team's World Series title as a relief pitcher during the 2025 postseason.
