Create Special Summer Vacation Memories: "Kids Bartender Experience" Hosted with Lectures by Hotel Bartenders

Kyoto Century Hotel (Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, General Manager: Miwa Sakurai) will hold the "Kids Bartender Experience," an event for children that was well-received last year, at its main bar "Essex" on Saturdays and Sundays in August, with the theme of "experiences unique to a hotel." This year, as a participation benefit, we have upgraded the content to allow participants to enjoy non-alcoholic cocktails they made themselves along with hotel-made desserts.

At this event, you can enjoy a "bartender experience" where you actually enter the bar counter and try making two types of non-alcoholic cocktails. In the making experience, you will first be taught how to hold a shaker and then try making the fairy tale-themed non-alcoholic cocktail "Cinderella" by shaking it yourself. Furthermore, you will choose either "Shirley Temple," designed to be enjoyable even for children, or "Virgin Breeze," where you can learn how to create beautiful gradations, and create a total of two types of non-alcoholic cocktails. After the experience, you will be awarded the "Kyoto Century Hotel Official Kids Bartender Certificate" and receive a commemorative photo. You can also enjoy the cocktails you made yourself with a dessert made with mango, one of the flavors of summer, and spend a relaxing time at the hotel.

This is a special day to broaden children's horizons through an experience where they can interact with professional techniques and hospitality in the authentic atmosphere of the hotel's main bar. It's an activity that not only allows children to learn about hotel work, which they don't often get to see, but is also recommended as a summer vacation memory-making activity or a theme for a research project.
