Biwako Kisen & Biwako Hotel Announce Joint Campaign for 'Naruse wa Tenka wo Torini Iku' Stage Play

Biwako Kisen Co., Ltd. and Biwako Hotel have announced a joint campaign from July 16 (Thu) to July 29 (Wed), 2026, to support the July 2026 stage production of 'Naruse wa Tenka wo Torini Iku' as official performance partners.

'Naruse wa Tenka wo Torini Iku' is a 2024 Japan Booksellers' Award-winning youth novel set in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture. The story features the paddle-steamer 'Michigan,' operated by Biwako Kisen. Biwako Hotel is optimally located as a base for 'pilgrimages' to the story's setting, with excellent access to the Michigan Cruise and the performance venue.

During the campaign, visitors can receive commemorative stickers when using facilities alongside performance tickets, or take advantage of special packages including hotel stays, cruises, and tours.
