This time, we collaborate with "Sugimoto Rose Garden," which has been cultivating high-quality roses since 1971 in Ryuo Town, located in the southeastern part of Lake Country Shiga. The company has explored cultivation methods suitable for Japan's climate, accumulating technology and knowledge to grow high-quality roses. It has received the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award multiple times at the "Japan Rose Cut Flower Competition" and has a distinguished history of presenting roses to the Imperial Family. For five years, Biwako Hotel has promoted local production for local consumption by utilizing Shiga-prefecture grown flowers for decoration, carrying out SDGs initiatives to support local producers in Shiga. The roses will be decorated by "Chikiriya Garden," a florist with 80 years of history in Kyoto, offering guests a moment to experience the profound charm of early summer roses.

Located in Ryuo, Shiga, a region rich in nature and blessed with Lake Biwa, the garden started cultivating roses in 1971. Inheriting the techniques and philosophy established by the founder, they meticulously cultivate "Trinity Roses" with a balanced form of "flower, leaves, and stem." They also hold a license as an official production farm for cut roses of "David Austin Roses," a world-renowned rose breeder, operating as one of only a few licensed farms worldwide.
