Relocation and Renewal Opening of the Sub-Flagship Store 'Kawai Kawaguchi' as a New Hub for Music Culture in Saitama Prefecture

Kawai Musical Instruments Mfg. Co., Ltd. will relocate and renew its sub-flagship store in Saitama Prefecture, "Kawai Kawaguchi," on Saturday, April 11, within the comprehensive cultural facility "Kawaguchi Comprehensive Cultural Center Lilia" in Kawaguchi City, Saitama.

Since opening the "Kawai Kawaguchi Shop" inside the "Kawaguchi Comprehensive Cultural Center Lilia" in 2004, we have nurtured cultural exchange through music with the local community for over 20 years. During the renovation period of the center from 2024, we had been operating in a temporary store, but in conjunction with the center's reopening, we will open with a new look under the name "Kawai Kawaguchi."

At "Kawai Kawaguchi," in addition to exhibiting and selling high value-added pianos such as our flagship grand piano "Shigeru Kawai," we also carry a wide selection of sheet music. Furthermore, we feature a "Kawai Music School" equipped with an optimal environment for piano lessons, and a music salon "Le Mieux" capable of accommodating approximately 100 people. Through concerts, recitals, and musical events, we will develop it as a base for dispatching musical culture open to the community.

The name "Le Mieux" was chosen with the hope that it will become "the best place to make life resonate." For everyone preparing for recitals and competitions, we will provide an optimal space and pianos that maximize expressive potential, creating a place to grow together with music.

Our company will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2027. Positioning "Kawai Kawaguchi" as a new core base in Saitama Prefecture, we will advance our activities toward the next 100 years while nurturing music culture together with the community.
