KaraSeed LLC (Headquarters: Fuchu, Tokyo) will launch the second crowdfunding campaign for the 'Micro Hunter Kit X250P,' which allows for high-magnification polarized microscope observation when attached to a smartphone, on the domestic crowdfunding site 'machi-ya' starting Wednesday, April 1, 2026. This product achieved its project goal within one hour during the preceding GREENFUNDING campaign, ultimately receiving support exceeding 1800% of the target amount. Furthermore, it was featured on Fuji TV's 'Mezamashi TV' on March 19, 2026. Due to this response, we have decided to conduct a second crowdfunding campaign on machi-ya.

Features of the New Lens MH-X250P:
The new MH-X250P lens included in the 'Micro Hunter Kit X250P' is a high-magnification polarized microscope lens for use with smartphones. It supports observation at approximately 250x optical magnification, and by combining it with the smartphone's zoom function, you can observe and photograph the micro world in greater detail. Polarized observation allows you to enjoy a different perspective than standard observation, such as with rock thin sections, minerals, crystals, and plastics.

Additionally, it is small, lightweight, and easy to carry. Since you can observe, photograph, record, and share on the spot using your smartphone, it can be used in a wide range of scenes, including professional use, education, independent research, hobby observation, and content creation.

Background of the 2nd Crowdfunding:
In the first crowdfunding campaign, we received support exceeding 1800% of the target amount on GREENFUNDING, with over 300 backers. Given the significant response, we decided to conduct a second campaign on machi-ya to deliver this product to even more people.

Microscope observation has traditionally been a field with high barriers to entry, often requiring specialized equipment and specific environments. By combining it with a smartphone, we aim to lower those barriers and allow more people to experience the fun of the micro world. In particular, while polarized observation offers unique views of minerals and crystals, it is not yet widely accessible. The Micro Hunter Kit X250P was planned and developed to make the world of polarized observation more accessible.
