Kao Corporation is refreshing the packaging design for its dish detergent, "Cucute No-Scrub Foam Pack." Additionally, a new commercial titled "Hottarakashi (Leave It) Theater," featuring the "Cucute Three Siblings"—Mikako Tabe, Jun Shison, and Ai Mikami—will be released on April 1, 2026.

"Cucute No-Scrub Foam Pack," launched in April 2025, is a spray-type dish detergent that allows you to clean dishes by simply "spraying and rinsing*1," eliminating the need to scrub with a sponge.

According to a survey conducted by Kao among purchasers of this product, approximately 80% of users do not rinse immediately after spraying, but rather wait for a while. Users provided positive feedback, such as, "It's great to just give it a quick spray when I'm busy," and "After spraying, I can just leave it and have some free time*2."

Consequently, along with the packaging refresh, Cucute is proposing a new dishwashing habit: "Foam pack and leave it!"

By simply spraying this product on your dishes, the enzyme-powered formula breaks down grease while you are away, even if you don't wash them immediately after eating. You can then finish the dishwashing process by rinsing whenever you like*1. New CM Information Mikako Tabe, Jun Shison, and Ai Mikami will continue to appear as the familiar "Cucute Three Siblings" in the newly released commercial. In this installment, the three use puppets to play the roles of parents and children.

The commercial depicts parents who, while washing dishes, are asked by their child to "play with me." Despite being busy with housework, they want to respond to their child's feelings. It shows them using this product to "foam pack and leave it," allowing them to spend precious time with their family.
