【Grand Prize: 10 Years' Supply of Mozuku】Winners Announced for the '3rd Mozuku Senryu Contest 2026'!

Kaneryo Seaweed Co., Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Yoshiki Takagi, Location: 1544 Sasahara-cho, Uto City, Kumamoto Prefecture), a comprehensive seaweed manufacturer, held the '3rd Mozuku Senryu Contest 2026' from Sunday, February 1, 2026, to Tuesday, March 31, 2026. This year marked the third iteration of the contest, which saw even greater excitement than in previous years, with Tadahisa Fujimura of 'Suiyo Dodesho' and Jiro Nishida, who worked on 'Downtown DX,' joining as special judges.

This time, we received 11,597 entries from people of all ages across the country, surpassing last year's total. Following a rigorous judging process, the winning entries have now been selected and are hereby announced.

Furthermore, with the support of the Okinawa Mozuku Aquaculture Promotion Council, including Okinawa Prefecture, we have once again established the 'Okinawa Mozuku Aquaculture Promotion Council Chairman's Award' this year. Moving forward, we will continue to deepen our collaboration with the production areas to deliver the appeal of mozuku to even more people and further boost its popularity.
