Our company was founded in March 1947 in Ijuin-cho, Hioki-gun (then Hioki District), Kagoshima Prefecture, as a flour milling, noodle manufacturing, and rice polishing business. Subsequently, while actively expanding into the food sector, focusing on dried and instant noodles, in 1972, compound feed for kuruma prawns was developed through joint research with the Kagoshima Prefectural Fisheries Experiment Station. This led to our development as a manufacturer of aquaculture feed, and Higashimaru Co., Ltd. was established in 1979. In the food division, we manufacture and sell products under the brand name "Higashi Foods".
