JVCKENWOOD Selected as 'Supplier Engagement Leader' in CDP2025

JVCKENWOOD Corporation has been selected for the first time as a 'Supplier Engagement Leader,' the highest rating in the 'Supplier Engagement Rating' conducted by CDP, a non-profit organization that operates a global environmental disclosure system, for its 2025 survey. The company was also selected for the 'A List' in the 'Climate Change' category of CDP2025 (announced on December 22, 2025). The 'Supplier Engagement Rating' evaluates companies' efforts to address climate change issues in their supply chains based on five criteria: 'Governance and Business Strategy,' 'Supplier Engagement,' 'Scope 3 Emissions,' 'Risk Management and Processes,' and 'Targets.' Companies with particularly outstanding initiatives are selected as 'Supplier Engagement Leaders.' Under our corporate philosophy of 'Creating excitement and peace of mind for people around the world,' we are promoting sustainability management that balances 'profitable growth' with 'global social issue resolution.' In our medium-term management plan 'VISION2030,' we have set 'building a responsible supply chain' as one of our materialities, recognizing the importance of achieving sustainable procurement while considering social demands such as the environment and human rights. We are promoting sustainability procurement globally. Furthermore, we request all business partners to conduct self-audits using a Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) and encourage active reporting and initiatives to reduce impact, thereby working to reduce environmental and social impacts across the entire supply chain. In addition, our initiatives such as introducing environmental-related items into executive compensation, disclosing Scope 3 emissions, and conducting third-party verification were evaluated, leading to this selection. We will continue to build a sustainable supply chain and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through our business activities.
