Pairings Released for the Weight-Unrestricted Japan Championship to Decide Men's Judo's 'Strongest': The 'Reiwa 8 All Japan Judo Championships'

　The Public Judo Federation of Japan has released the pairings for the "Reiwa 8th Year All Japan Judo Championships" to be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the Nippon Budokan.

　This tournament includes 5 recommended athletes: the previous winner Daigo Kagawa, runner-up Hisayoshi Harasawa, as well as Ryuju Nagayama, Tsuyoshi Takeoka, and Sanshiro Murao. Athletes who have won through the 10 regional preliminaries nationwide will also participate, competing for the title of Japan's number one without weight classes.

　Please come and witness the "true Japan Championship match" where top athletes, usually active in their respective weight classes, compete beyond weight differences.
