JTEKT Corporation (Headquarters: Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture; President & CEO: Yoshito Kondo; hereinafter "JTEKT") promotes business activities by upholding a Mission as its corporate purpose, a Vision as its goal by 2030, and Values as shared principles for all employees. A new "Code of Conduct" has been formulated as a guide to connect the JTEKT Group's Value, "Yes for All, by All! Let's do it for everyone, by everyone," to daily judgments and actions.

Based on its Mission of "Connecting technology to bring smiles to everyone on Earth and everyone who works," JTEKT has set the JTEKT Group Vision for 2030 as "A Solution Provider that Creates the Future of Mobility Society." To transform into this solution provider, the company aims for growth and transformation on two axes: increasing the added value of existing products and challenging new domains.
As the needs of society and customers diversify, it is more important than ever for JTEKT to continue to be trusted by society and contribute to it, by having each employee think for themselves "what is right" and act proactively. Furthermore, an attitude of respecting each other's individuality and ideas, thinking together, and acting together is required so that each person's strengths can be demonstrated.
Against this backdrop, this Code of Conduct will serve as a "source of value" to help employees return to the fundamental principles that should be cherished in their daily work, thereby advancing the transformation into a solution provider.
1. What is the Code of Conduct?
The Code of Conduct is a guide that compiles the ways of thinking and actions for each employee to integrate the Value into their daily activities. To achieve the Mission and Vision, it serves as a tool for each employee to continuously ask "what is right" based on the Value. It clearly explains the Value, "Yes for All, by All! Let's do it for everyone, by everyone," and the five principles that constitute it.

2. Message from President & CEO Yoshito Kondo
This Code of Conduct has been formulated with the aim of clearly demonstrating our cherished Value, "Yes for All, by All! Let's do it for everyone, by everyone," and connecting it to concrete actions by employees. I believe that the success of each and every employee is the driving force that will realize our Vision for 2030 and open up the future as a "Solution Provider." I am confident that the accumulation of each employee's efforts—thinking for themselves, engaging in dialogue with colleagues, and acting proactively while leveraging each other's strengths, based on this Code of Conduct—will become JTEKT's great strength and lead to "smiles for everyone on Earth and everyone who works," as stated in our Mission.
