JTB Publishing (Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and Executive Officer: Hiroyuki Morisaki), a JTB Group company providing travel and lifestyle information, will hold an exhibition for the picture book Yes! Left-handed (published February 10, 2026). The event, titled "Picture Book 'Yes! Left-handed' Panel Exhibition — The Little Secrets Only Lefties Know," will take place at "editor’s fav Rurubu Kitchen" from April 6–10 and April 12–20, 2026.

About one in ten people is said to be left-handed. Much of society—from train ticket gates to computer mice—is designed for right-handers, a fact that right-handers rarely notice. In this environment, left-handers navigate their daily lives with small inconveniences and clever workarounds. This exhibition allows visitors to experience the world of the picture book Yes! Left-handed, which humorously depicts the daily life of a left-handed boy named "Left," his grandfather, and their pet cat, "Hakoneko."

"Do your elbows bump the person next to you when eating at a counter?" "Is calligraphy difficult because most Japanese characters are designed to be written from the left?" The exhibition uses panels to introduce the minor inconveniences and clever solutions left-handers experience—things that are rarely put into words—all with the same humor found in the picture book. Left-handed children and their families will find themselves saying "I totally get it!", while right-handers will enjoy fresh discoveries.

Visitors can enjoy a "Challenge Corner" where they can actually experience the daily life of a left-hander. Left-handed specific goods will also be on display, providing a great opportunity for right-handers to try them out.
