April 3 (Friday) "Shiomi Day" First Phase Opening of Shiomi Elevated Track Underpass

JR East Urban Development Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 2-2-2 Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hidenori Nemoto) will open four stores under the Shiomi elevated tracks on April 3, 2026 (Friday), designated as "Shiomi Day." This opening will bring together diverse businesses, including dining and services, aiming to improve local convenience and create vibrancy around the station. Additionally, an opening event will be held for two days, on April 3 (Friday) and April 4 (Saturday). The stores expected to open include Akebono Pharmacy, Kitade Shokudo, Orihara Shoten, and Sakana Sakaba Uohoshi. The opening event will feature activities such as a festival (Ennichi) and a kids' stationmaster uniform experience at Minamo Hiroba and Shiomi Ryugu Shrine.
