JR Hakata City Co., Ltd. has introduced a "Scholarship Repayment Support System" starting in October 2025, aiming to reduce the financial burden on employees and secure and retain human resources that support the company's growth.
This system is operated targeting all employees, and since it will also apply to new graduates joining the company from April 2026 onwards, it will be officially announced in April of the same year.
In recent years, the number of students utilizing scholarships at universities and other institutions has been increasing, and considering the current situation where it is common to continue repayment over a long period, we believe it is important to reduce the financial burden on our employees and create an environment where they can continue to work with peace of mind. Therefore, we have introduced this system.
1. Eligible Recipients
All employees currently repaying scholarships, including new graduates and mid-career hires.
2. Support Amount
Up to 1.8 million yen (15,000 yen/month, maximum of 10 years)
* Since this support money is paid as salary, it is subject to taxation such as income tax.
* The source of the scholarship loan and the repayment method do not matter.
* Detailed conditions of the system will be operated based on internal company regulations.
Through this system, we are focusing on providing an attractive working environment, strengthening our structure to welcome new colleagues amid intensifying recruitment competition, and promoting employee retention.
