ekinico Higashi-Beppu Station Marche to be Held!

B-biz LINK, a general incorporated association for Beppu City Industry Collaboration and Cooperation Platform, and Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu) will hold the "Higashi-Beppu Station Marche" event at Higashi-Beppu Station!

Under the theme of "creating a 'usual place' where both children and adults can enjoy together," the event will feature food and drink stalls run by students, workshops for children, and projects where visitors can experience art up close. It aims to create a place for interaction where local residents and future generations can gather, contributing to the revitalization of the area by utilizing the historic station building.

Furthermore, the "Beppu Hatto Onsen Festival" will be held from April 1st to 5th, with events taking place at the Hamawaki venue on April 5th. Please be sure to stop by Higashi-Beppu Station!

*The event may be canceled or postponed in case of severe weather.

★Higashi-Beppu Station is a historic station, the oldest wooden single-story station building in Oita Prefecture, opened in 1911 (Meiji 44), and designated as a tangible cultural property of Beppu City. In March 2025, as part of the ekinico project, a rental studio "BEPPU STUDIO 04" was opened on the second floor of the adjacent track maintenance office.
