日本民營鐵道協會、JR北海道、JR東日本、JR東海、JR西日本、JR四國、JR九州、札幌市交通局、東京都交通局、橫濱市交通局、名古屋市交通局、福岡市交通局、New Shuttle、北總鐵道、東京單軌電車、百合海鷗號、多摩都市單軌電車、東京臨海高速鐵道、橫濱海濱線、愛知環狀鐵道、名古屋臨海高速鐵道、Osaka Metro 等單位，針對2025年度(2025年4月~2026年3月)發生的對站務員及乘務員等鐵路從業人員的暴力行為件數進行了統計，結果顯示在38個公司局中，暴力行為的發生件數為590件。
暴力行為的發生件數，曾因伴隨新冠病毒疫情導致的運輸乘客減少而一度下降，但隨著近年來運輸乘客的恢復，呈現持續上升趨勢，逼近疫情前的水準。

2025年度（2025年4月～2026年3月）
本年度的特點是，從月份來看,4月至10月的連續期間內，任一月份的發生件數均超過了去年度。從星期來看，多發生於週五、週六、週日的週末，從時段來看，夜間及深夜的發生件數較多。
為防止暴力行為，全國的鐵路營運商持續實施多項措施，包括張貼宣導海報、警察巡邏及保全人員配置、對站務員進行研修、於車站及車廂內設置防盜攝影機等。此外，透過媒體等管道讓廣大乘客認知到對鐵路從業人員施加暴力行為的實態，也被認為具有一定的嚇阻效果。
我們將持續強烈呼籲，暴力行為絕對不可被容許，鐵路業界全體將團結一致，以堅決的態度應對暴力行為。詳細的統計結果請參閱附件。
