TD SYNNEX K.K. (Headquarters: Tokyo; President and CEO: Shigetaka Kunimochi; hereinafter "TD SYNNEX") is pleased to announce that it has acquired the "Analytics on Microsoft Azure" Specialization. This certification is a top-tier qualification awarded to companies with advanced expertise and achievements within Microsoft's partner certification program. Following a previous certification in the infrastructure domain, this recognition evaluates TD SYNNEX's proven track record and expertise in supporting partners and customers with their analytics environments through advanced data analytics solutions such as Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks.
■ About the "Specialization" Certification:
The Specialization is a top-tier certification awarded only to partners who have demonstrated advanced technical capabilities, extensive implementation experience, and successfully passed rigorous audits by third-party organizations in specific solution areas on Microsoft Azure.
Based on this certification, TD SYNNEX will support cloud migration and data analytics platform construction utilizing analytics services such as Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks. This support targets data warehouses and data platforms operating in on-premise or other cloud environments, offering migration and deployment services, as well as initiatives for new analytical utilization of data after migration.
Specifically, TD SYNNEX will provide the following three types of support:
- Environment Assessment
Diagnose on-premise and existing cloud environments, and analyze the configuration and interrelationships of servers, applications, and databases using tools such as Azure Migrate. A report will be provided detailing migration suitability, optimal Azure configuration, estimated costs, and support for developing a roadmap for cloud migration.
- Migration & Modernize
Based on the assessment results, implement Azure migration for Windows/Linux servers and databases, modernize data platforms, and introduce analytics platforms. Utilize Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and other tools to help companies build environments that make data easier to use.
- Funding for Migration Projects
Utilize Microsoft's migration support programs (such as Azure Accelerate) to provide funding for environment assessments and migration projects. Partner companies and end-users can leverage this funding to promote Azure migration while reducing the cost burden of initial investigations and migration projects.
TD SYNNEX's partner companies can utilize these support systems and various Microsoft programs through TD SYNNEX, even if they do not hold the Specialization certification themselves. By assisting with project entry, application procedures, and proof of execution (POE), TD SYNNEX enables partner companies such as MSPs, VARs, and ISVs to focus on creating customer value.
Tatsuya Mino, Executive Officer, Channel Partner General Manager, Corporate Solutions Business Division, Microsoft Japan Co., Ltd., commented as follows:
"We are extremely pleased that TD SYNNEX K.K. has acquired the Analytics Specialization in the Azure ecosystem, following its Infrastructure certification. This certification demonstrates the company's execution capability and commitment to continuously leading value creation for partners and customers in advanced data analytics areas, including Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks. Microsoft Japan will continue to collaborate with TD SYNNEX K.K. to jointly promote sustainable growth and ecosystem expansion through the Azure platform."
