Final Fantasy XIV: Free Trial Expanded, Major Update Patch 7.5 "The Path Beyond" Released!

Square Enix Co., Ltd.'s online RPG "Final Fantasy XIV" (hereinafter, FFXIV) has expanded the scope of its free trial to include the expansion pack "Shadowbringers". This allows players to play up to level 80 without time restrictions, offering the equivalent of four RPGs' worth of story content for free.

In addition, a major update, Patch 7.5 "The Path Beyond," was released today. This update introduces a variety of new content, including the main quest "The Path Beyond," which begins a new story, and "Windurst: The Third Walk," the third and final chapter of "Echoes of Vana'diel," a crossover content with "Final Fantasy XI." System updates to support a more comfortable gameplay experience have also been released.

Free trial now playable up to "Shadowbringers"!

The free trial's playable range has been expanded, allowing free play up to level 80 without time restrictions.

Players can now experience the equivalent of four RPGs' worth of story content for free, including the base package "A Realm Reborn," and the expansion packs "Heavensward," "Stormblood," and now "Shadowbringers."
