By combining this sensibility—which strips away the unnecessary while embedding beauty in materials, structures, and gestures—with generative AI as a new creative partner, we propose new fashion expressions suitable for future lifestyles.

The contest theme this time is "Future Utility".

Participants are free to devise concepts and designs in line with this theme and submit their works along with item images created using generative AI. After judging by a panel and a public vote, one Grand Prize winner and two Excellence Award winners will be selected and announced. Entry Requirements:
- The work must be created using AI image generation.
- It must demonstrate a consistent concept and visual expression as a single collection.
- Submit 5 works per collection.
- The collection must target one or a combination of the following: Apparel / Shoes / Bags / Fashion Goods / Accessories / Hair & Makeup / Furniture.
- In addition, it must meet all other conditions in the application guidelines.

Awards:
Grand Prize (1 work): 200,000 JPY
Excellence Award (2 works): 50,000 JPY

We welcome proposals from a wide range of perspectives, including workwear, utility wear, future uniforms, clothing adapted to urban and natural environments, and attire that supports caregiving and disaster prevention. How will Japanese aesthetic sensibilities—artisan culture, the wisdom of layering, sensitivity to materials, and meticulous attention to detail—be updated by generative AI? We invite new forms of practical beauty created through the co-creation of humans and AI from both domestic and international participants.

■ Seminar to understand the "now" of Fashion × Generative AI: "The Future of Generative AI and Fashion #6: Exploring the Forefront of Fashion Generative AI with Practitioners"

The highly acclaimed seminar is scheduled for its 6th iteration. This time, under the theme of "Generative AI × Fashion", we will invite OpenFashion/Authentic AI CEO Toru Ueda and other guests to introduce brand building in the AI era and the possibilities of planning, design, and creativity using generative AI.
