Louis Vuitton is proud to announce its role as Official Supplier and Brand Licensee for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, crafting an official custom trophy trunk designed to transport and showcase the most iconic trophy in football. This trophy trunk will make its pitch debut at the final match of the FIFA World Cup 2026™. In line with the iconic ceremony since 2010, it will be carried onto the field by Louis Vuitton ambassadors and FIFA legends. On this occasion, Louis Vuitton also unveils an exclusive limited collection of trunks.

Handcrafted by the Maison’s artisans, the new trophy trunk was created at the historic Asnières-sur-Seine workshop just outside Paris. It is covered in Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram canvas, with two front doors featuring gold 'V' motifs evoking the trophy’s color, symbolizing 'Victory' and 'Vuitton'. The exterior is finished with leather trim known as 'Lozine'—a signature Louis Vuitton border—along with gold-toned brass corner protectors, locks, and fasteners reminiscent of hardware used on Louis Vuitton trunks since the 1860s. The interior is lined with light beige leather, and the lid features a patch with the partnership logo of Louis Vuitton and FIFA.

"For over a decade, Louis Vuitton and FIFA have shared a steadfast commitment to excellence, rooted in a common belief in the power of sport to inspire and unite people. We are delighted to continue this partnership for the FIFA World Cup 2026™. At its heart lies the trophy—the ultimate celebration of dedication, collective ambition, and victory—the most coveted prize in the world. In this new tournament, Louis Vuitton’s trophy trunk will carry on this tradition, accompanying the most iconic moments in football history as the sport’s greatest achievements are celebrated," said Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton.

"Louis Vuitton brings unparalleled tradition, craftsmanship, and prestige to the FIFA World Cup™. The Official Trophy is the most desired award in world football, and it is only fitting that it travels within a Louis Vuitton trunk. The moment it is carried onto the pitch ahead of the final match will once again be a highlight, connecting tradition with the pinnacle of modern football," said Romy Guichard, FIFA Chief Business Officer.

Since 2010, Louis Vuitton has built close ties with the world’s most prestigious international sporting events. In football, the Maison has crafted trophy trunks for previous FIFA World Cup™ tournaments, accompanying the trophy at the final matches held in South Africa (2010), Brazil (2014), Russia (2018), and Qatar (2022), embodying the spirit of "Victory travels in Louis Vuitton."
