CyberLink Corp. (hereinafter "CyberLink") announces that its AI facial recognition security system, "FaceMe® Security," has been integrated with the "ACS-5000" from VIA Technologies Japan K.K. (hereinafter "VIA Technologies"), making it available as a facial recognition device for access control.

FaceMe® Security is a ready-to-deploy turnkey security solution equipped with features such as facial recognition access management, electronic lock control, real-time monitoring, and event recording. Its extensive range of add-on functions allows for flexible adaptation to various installation environments and operational needs.

With this integration, the ACS-5000 can now be used as a facial recognition terminal compatible with the "Face Terminal" add-on of FaceMe® Security. This combination enables access management that pairs high-speed edge AI facial recognition with advanced anti-spoofing capabilities, providing an ideal solution for environments requiring high security, such as offices, factories, and data centers.

### Key Features of the "FaceMe® Security" and "ACS-5000" Integration

1. **Optimized for MediaTek Genio 700 to Accelerate Authentication Processing** The ACS-5000 is equipped with the MediaTek Genio 700 octa-core SoC, which offers high computing performance and low power consumption. FaceMe® Security is optimized for the MediaTek Genio 700's NPU, achieving faster facial recognition processing and reduced CPU load compared to CPU-only processing. - **AI Inference Speed:** Improved by up to 6.5x - **CPU Load:** Reduced by up to 24% This ensures stable, lag-free authentication even during peak hours (e.g., clock-in/out times), contributing to reduced congestion.

2. **Advanced Anti-Spoofing via IR + RGB Cameras** The AI models and fraud detection algorithms of FaceMe® Security have been optimized for the IR + RGB cameras built into the ACS-5000, strengthening anti-spoofing capabilities. It can detect fraudulent authentication attempts using photos, videos, or 3D masks within 0.6 seconds, ensuring reliable identity verification.

3. **Door Control Without Additional Equipment** FaceMe® Security can directly control the digital I/O of the ACS-5000, allowing for door opening and closing via A-contact or Wiegand based on facial recognition results. This enables the construction of an access management system without the need for additional hardware, simplifying system configuration and reducing implementation costs.

### Comment from Bao-Huei Chen, Vice President of VISVIA Division, VIA Technologies "Access control systems are shifting from traditional card authentication to more automated facial recognition. As the need for strict identity verification and access management grows, we are very pleased to accelerate the promotion of systems that fuse AI facial recognition technology with edge computing through our partnership with CyberLink."
