AI Security System 'AI Security asilla' Now Features Vehicle and Bicycle Detection

Asilla, Inc. (Headquarters: Machida, Tokyo; CEO: Tsuyoshi Onoe), whose vision is 'making the world safer and more comfortable through technology,' has announced the release of new features for its AI security system 'AI Security asilla': 'Vehicle Detection (Entry/Long-term parking)' and 'Bicycle Detection (Parking/Long-term abandonment).' These features will be available as an open beta starting with the Ver 4.4 update on Monday, May 18, 2026.

## Development Background
Since launching 'asilla' in July 2022, Asilla has implemented the system in approximately 200 facilities, primarily commercial complexes and office buildings. As the number of installations grew, there was an increasing demand for safety management in outdoor areas such as perimeters, parking lots, and bicycle racks, in addition to indoor abnormal behavior detection. Outdoor areas are often too vast for manual monitoring alone, creating security gaps that lead to safety risks and increased operational burdens.

## Key Features
The new features fill the gap in outdoor monitoring using existing surveillance cameras. A major advantage is that it requires no additional hardware investment and allows for seamless coverage of both indoor and outdoor areas on the same platform. The AI constantly analyzes footage and sends real-time notifications to security personnel or managers upon detecting incidents like unauthorized vehicle entry or abandoned bicycles.

## New Functions
1. **Vehicle Detection (Entry/Long-term parking)**
Detects vehicle entry and long-term parking in areas such as parking lots, private roads, and facility perimeters. Useful for detecting vehicles entering after hours or unauthorized parking in restricted zones.
2. **Bicycle Detection (Parking/Long-term abandonment)**
Detects parking in prohibited zones or long-term abandonment near entrances and on sidewalks. Helps in enforcing parking rules and early discovery of abandoned bicycles.

## Future Outlook
Through the open beta, Asilla aims to accumulate operational expertise and further improve detection accuracy and usability. The company will leverage its strength in integrating indoor behavior recognition and outdoor incident detection on a single platform to expand into more business sectors.
