Jimoty, Inc. (hereinafter "the Company"), which operates the local information site "Jimoty," has concluded an agreement regarding reuse with Mihama Town, Aichi Prefecture (hereinafter "Mihama Town") to implement reuse awareness initiatives aimed at reducing waste. The Company has currently signed reuse agreements with 295 local governments nationwide, working toward the realization of a sustainable society through reuse awareness and waste reduction. This initiative marks the 26th such case within Aichi Prefecture.

Purpose of the Agreement Mihama Town is promoting waste sorting and reduction based on its General Waste Management Basic Plan to address the issue of resource depletion. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the flea markets that were held annually were suspended after the 2021 fiscal year, creating a need for alternative reuse methods. Furthermore, it is necessary to increase the options for disposal methods to prevent the improper disposal of home appliances and large furniture. To resolve these issues and aim for the realization of a sustainable society, Mihama Town has concluded this agreement with the Company.

Activities (As of April 1, 2026*) By publicizing the Company's initiatives, we aim to educate residents on the option of "giving away instead of throwing away," improve awareness of reuse, and reduce the volume of waste and improper disposal by introducing this as one of the available disposal methods.

[Publicity Methods] ・Introduction of Jimoty on the official website ・Introduction of Jimoty in the Mihama Town public relations magazine "Koho Mihama" ・Introduction as one of the options when responding to inquiries about disposal methods at service counters or via telephone

The Company will continue to strengthen reuse promotion in cooperation with local governments, aiming for the realization of a sustainable society. We look forward to inquiries from local governments across the country that are motivated to reduce waste and promote reuse.
