■Aim of the Agreement

In Katsuuracho, "promotion of 4Rs" is listed as one of the basic policies in its General Waste Management Plan, and various waste reduction activities are being carried out. While efforts to promote recycling and reduce waste have been implemented, there has been a long-standing challenge regarding the inability to actively promote reuse among the 4Rs. ■Activities (as of April 1, 2026*)

Katsuuracho will raise awareness among residents about the option to "give away instead of discard" through its official website, town newsletters, and waste disposal pamphlets, thereby curbing waste generation by improving reuse awareness.

Furthermore, Katsuuracho will create an official account within Jimoty to disseminate town information, including reuse initiatives, to a wider audience of residents.

The Company will continue to aim for the realization of a sustainable society and strengthen reuse promotion in cooperation with local governments. We welcome inquiries from local governments nationwide that are motivated to reduce waste and promote reuse.
