New Seaside Music Festival 'Ongaku Hanto' to be Held on Ajihanto Peninsula on July 20 (Marine Day)

With its nostalgic townscapes, stunning Seto Inland Sea views overlooking Shido Bay, and a growing number of unique restaurants and commercial facilities, the Ajihanto Peninsula is full of charm. However, it is also an area facing depopulation due to the decline of local industries and a shrinking population.

Driven by a desire to further energize this increasingly noticed area, the new music festival 'Ongaku Hanto' is being organized under the theme of 'liberation.'

Set against the backdrop of Shido Bay, the festival will feature live performances where the nature of the Ajihanto Peninsula harmonizes with music, blending art and music. The goal is to convey the appeal of the Ajihanto Peninsula to more people through a special musical experience that can only be had in this location, aiming for the revitalization of the area! (Over 30 groups including artists and market vendors are scheduled to participate!)

Various artists from inside and outside Kagawa Prefecture are scheduled to perform across genres, including ambient music that leverages the power of the location, rock, and acoustic sets.

② Ikebana Performance 'Mitsudomoe'

An outdoor ikebana (flower arranging) live performance will be held, synchronized with the music.
