JID GROUP Holds Joint Memorial Service at Saifukuji Temple for 337 Unclaimed Souls, Including Executives and Employees

Background of Implementation

In its rental guarantee business, JID often attends property handovers as a guarantor of tenants' credit. When a tenant passes away or goes missing, remains may be left in the dwelling. Most guarantee companies do not accept or store these remains. The unclaimed remains are left without a destination, often leaving property owners to deal with the problem, which causes considerable difficulty.

Since its establishment, JID has taken responsibility for collecting and storing remains found in dwellings. As the number of stored remains increased, in November 2013, JID established a permanent memorial grave in Kisarazu City, setting up a system for the continuous memorialization of unclaimed souls found in dwellings. Since its establishment, JID has held an annual joint memorial service to continue these prayers.

This year, a total of 52 executives and employees respectfully performed memorial services for 337 unclaimed souls.

JID will continue to undertake various initiatives, including those with its group companies, from the standpoint of a guarantor.

34 new employees participated in the joint memorial service. They offered their heartfelt prayers.
