### Anna Umemiya

Born August 20, 1972, from Tokyo.
Active as a fashion model and talent since age 19.
In August 2024, she publicly announced that she had invasive lobular carcinoma (stage 3 breast cancer). After chemotherapy, right breast mastectomy, and radiation therapy, she is currently continuing medication for 10 years. She shares her real thoughts on her battle with illness, including the reasons for choosing "standard treatment," the side effects of chemotherapy, and the severity of treatment, on social media. Her posts have garnered much empathy and response, and she also gives lectures on cancer treatment and "patient power" both domestically and internationally. Additionally, in 2025, she got married 10 days after meeting, starting a new chapter in her life.

### Rio Umezawa

Born in Mie Prefecture in 1974. Moved to the US alone at age 15, studying painting at an art high school and art university in America. In 1998, she debuted as a radio DJ at YES-FM, a community FM station in Osaka. Subsequently, she hosted numerous regular programs on FM802, FM Osaka, ZIP-FM, and the JFN national network, and has been active in a wide range of fields including TV appearances, event MCs, and narration.
In 2014, she moved to Tokyo and fully committed to her career as a painter. In the same year, she was selected as a finalist at an international art festival in New York. Since then, she has been actively involved in domestic and international art fairs, solo exhibitions, and group exhibitions as painter RIO UMEZAWA, based in Tokyo. Currently, she is active in various fields such as radio, narration, meditation coach, talk instructor, and psychological art therapist, and has also started art lessons in Jimbocho, Tokyo, since 2024.
