interfm 30th Anniversary LIVE BUZZ FESTIVAL 2026 to be Held on Friday, July 3rd!

interfm (Tokyo: 89.7MHz, Yokohama: 76.5 MHz) celebrated its 30th anniversary in April 2026. As the second initiative for this anniversary, we will hold the "interfm 30th Anniversary LIVE BUZZ FESTIVAL 2026" on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Shibuya Club Quattro.

Interfm was assigned frequencies in Osaka and Tokyo in 1995 with the condition of providing foreign language broadcasting during emergencies, based on the reflection that information was not sufficiently reaching foreign residents during the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. The station officially opened on April 1, 1996. It is the only FM radio station in the Kanto region with a broad license to deliver its broadcasts.

Now, in 2026, as we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we will plan and implement various special programs, events, and campaigns together with our current programs, those we have delivered in the past, the many radio DJs who have appeared, and our performers including artists and talents. This time, as the second initiative for our 30th anniversary, we will hold a live event for our regular program "Nagano & Mickey's LIVE BUZZ" (Friday: 15:00).

This program is a Western music revival variety show hosted by comedian Nagano, who deeply loves Western rock music, and DJ Mickey, whose real name is FonKruck Miki, who delves deep into Western music information. They are passionately and joyfully broadcasting with the aim of amplifying the exciting buzz (BUZZ) of live Western music.
With the program's concept of "playing with listeners through Western music!", it invites not only long-time rock fans but also generations who have not listened to much Western music into its profound world, along with laughter.

At this event, artists who have previously guested on the program will gather to perform their own songs, as well as covers of Western artists who influenced them, and share their passionate love for music. Nagano and Mickey are also scheduled to perform comedy routines. The proceedings of this live event will be broadcast at a later date on "Nagano & Mickey's LIVE BUZZ" (Friday: 15:00). Please look forward to "interfm 30th Anniversary LIVE BUZZ FESTIVAL 2026," a homey variety music festival born from the program!

Nagano
A solo comedian, also known as a "lone wolf cult comedian." He is a renowned rock enthusiast in the entertainment industry, and his music talks on his YouTube channel are also very popular. He has received high praise for his broad knowledge and novel perspectives, and in 2021, he published the book "I Listened to Rock Music~ I Prefer Nirvana to Van Gogh!" His introduction to Western music was being captivated by the music video of Bryan Adams' "Heat of the Night" at the age of 13, which deepened his knowledge. In 2025, he made his directorial debut with the film "MAD MASK" and has been extremely busy with numerous appearances, including Netflix's "ラブ上等".

FonKruck Miki
A bilingual DJ with a bicultural background, born to a Japanese mother and an American father who couldn't speak each other's language. Leveraging both Japanese and American languages and cultures, he is active as a multi-talented entertainer, including as an actor, voice actor, and English teacher, participating in the creation and performance of educational programs and publishing books. He serves as a bridge in the entertainment industry, utilizing his experiences in both the US and Japan. His humorous English conversation videos, distributed on TikTok since 2019, have gained attention, garnering over 100,000 followers. In 2020, he was also inaugurated as a Rakugoka (comic storyteller) under the name "Tengu Ren Hataro".

Gestalt Otome
A rock band from Taiwan formed in January 2016. Their sound transcends genres, and their lyrics, written in Japanese, evoke empathy from listeners with their experimental yet relatable worldviews. They are active in both Taiwan and Japan, having performed at numerous live events and festivals such as Taiwan's Mega Port Festival, Ronin Sai, Tokyo's "Taiwan Festa" and "SHIN-ON SAI," and Osaka's "MINAMI WHEEL." Vocalist Mikan Hayashi also works under her solo name.

Shota Totsuka
Born in Tokyo in 1986. He formed "A.B.C-Z" in 2008 and made their major debut in 2012. He is energetically involved in music activities, including writing and composing his own songs, and held his solo tour "Shota Totsuka Solo Tour 2024 guerrilla love" in Osaka's BIGCAT and Tokyo's Zepp Haneda in 2024. As an actor, he has appeared in numerous works, starring in dramas like "If My Yakuza Boss Loved Me" and stage plays like "Almond." He also appears in Nagano's directorial work "MAD MASK" in 2025. In June 2026, he will hold "GUERRILLA LOVE TOUR 2026 40END".

N.Phenix
A solo artist who creates music centered around dream pop and alternative rock in a band style and performs live.
He is self-producing his activities, including visual design and video production, and also provides music for other artists. He primarily performs live activities in a band style.
