As of Wednesday, April 15, 2026, this service will be introduced in all 81 paid private rooms at JR Tokyo General Hospital.

〇 "One-Touch Meeting TV Sobaniru" is a service that was conceived and selected in the JR East Group's idea-gathering new business creation program "ON1000," developed by jeki, and born from a proof-of-concept experiment at JR Tokyo General Hospital.

"One-Touch Meeting TV Sobaniru" is a service that realizes an "inpatient environment where patients and their remotely living families can live together." Upon admission, the facility lends dedicated service terminals to both the patient and their family, constantly connecting the hospital room and home online. The basic operation is simply for the user to "open/close" the on-screen "door (shoji screen)" with a single touch. Anyone can start a video call immediately without needing instructions.
