Expanding Rental Service for Wheelchairs That Can Be Taken Outside the Station ~ "Wheelchair Rental Service by Babycal" Available at Harborland Station ~

JR East Planning is working to expand the "Wheelchair Rental Service by Babycal," a rental service for wheelchairs that can be reserved and used at destinations.

In further collaboration with Max Co., Ltd. and Kawamura Cycle Co., Ltd., wheelchair rental services will begin at Kobe City Subway Harborland Station on April 1st.

We aim to expand an environment where people who need support when going out can easily rent wheelchairs, and to realize a society where people can go out more freely and with peace of mind.

Service Start Date: Wednesday, April 1, 2026 (Note 1)

Location and Wheelchair Rental Hours: [Babycal Stand (Unmanned)] Kobe City Subway Harborland Station, Outside Ticket Gates Open Daily 8:00 - 21:00

Business Operator: JR East Planning Co., Ltd.

Usage Fees (Tax-Exempt): 500 yen for the first hour, then 100 yen every 30 minutes. Maximum 1,500 yen for 12 hours, then 100 yen every 30 minutes after 12 hours (Note 2).
