[YUGEN Gallery FUKUOKA] Group Exhibition by 4 Artists Expressing Everyday Sensations and Playfulness with Slightly Mysterious Works (Starting Saturday, April 25, 2026)

YUGEN Gallery FUKUOKA (Stage 1 Nishi-dori 4F, 2-1-4 Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture) will hold a group exhibition starting Saturday, April 25, 2026.

This exhibition features four participating artists: Momoe Amano, KAKA, Shunsuke Saiki, and Shoji Mochida.
Artists active in different fields will express the sensations, memories, and playfulness found in everyday life in their own unique forms.

The exhibition is composed primarily of motifs that are approachable yet somewhat mysterious, as if everyday life has been slightly distorted. These include Amano's two- and three-dimensional works evoking an atmosphere that feels like an extension of daily life, KAKA's adorable mushroom wood carvings, Saiki's paintings reminiscent of digital worlds and game culture, and Mochida's ceramics.

The artworks naturally reflect ways of seeing based on each artist's individual senses and experiences.
Even when observing the world in the same era, the images, expressions, and perspectives that arise differ slightly from artist to artist. By encountering these differences, we are suddenly made aware of how we usually perceive things.

At first glance, within these light and adorable works, one can sense something "a bit odd, but nice." Within that sensation, differences and expansiveness in how things are perceived gently emerge.

We invite you to experience this exhibition at the venue, a space interweaving two- and three-dimensional works where different perspectives loosely intersect and diverse interpretations coexist.
