Announcement Regarding Appointment of Directors for the Japan Women's Softball League Organization

The Japan Women's Softball League Organization announces that as of March 26, 2026, Izumi Takagi has stepped down from her position as Representative Director, Chairperson, and Chairman. We also announce the appointment of a new Representative Director, Executive Director, and other directors as follows.

We hereby announce that as of March 26, 2026, Izumi Takagi has resigned from her position as Representative Director, Chairperson, and Chairman of the Japan Women's Softball League Organization.

＜Farewell Message＞

I am stepping down as Chairperson of the JD.League upon the expiration of my term. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the fans, players, team officials, partner companies, and local communities who have supported the league during my tenure.

When I first took office, I stated that my mission was to convey the appeal of softball to as many people as possible and to contribute to the development of women's sports, and that I wished to walk toward the future of the league together with all stakeholders. That I have been able to work toward this goal until today is entirely due to your warm support and cooperation, for which I am deeply grateful. The JD.League has steadily progressed through the passion and support of many people. I sincerely hope that the league will continue to bring joy and excitement to people, create many smiles, and achieve further development as the world's premier women's softball league.

Finally, I would like to thank you once again for your support and ask for your continued encouragement of the JD.League.
