Since the establishment of the Tokyo Junior Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1949, with the ideal of realizing a bright and prosperous society and with young volunteers full of responsibility and passion, Junior Chambers have been successively established in various regions based on the philosophy of mutual improvement and contribution to society. In 1951, Junior Chamber International Japan was established as a comprehensive coordinating body for nationwide operations. Currently, there are Junior Chambers throughout Japan, actively addressing social issues such as volunteering and administrative reform, aiming to create a better society.
