Jasmy Lab's "JANCTION" Signs MOU with Creative Company "V01D"

Jasmy Lab Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hiroshi Harada; hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), developer and operator of the GPU computing project "JANCTION," announces that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with "V01D," a creative company engaged in businesses spanning creativity, technology, spatial experience, and platforms. The MOU aims to expand the creator ecosystem and jointly promote the utilization of distributed GPUs.

Through this MOU, V01D will act as a design company and creative partner, providing feedback on UI/UX, creator experience, and usability from the perspective of actual production sites for the distributed rendering application and related products that JANCTION is developing.

Furthermore, both companies will aim to build a new production infrastructure in the AI, CG, video, and design fields through activities such as holding joint contests for creators, expanding GPX.LINK to client companies and creators, and jointly developing new products.

Background and Purpose of the Alliance: In fields such as generative AI, 3DCG, video production, and game asset creation, the importance of computing resources required for rendering, generation, editing, storage, and sharing is increasing as expressions become more sophisticated.

However, access to high-performance GPUs and the handling of large-volume data remain a significant burden for individual creators and small production teams. Particularly in rendering processes, AI generation, and multi-person production workflows, there is a demand for a foundation that simultaneously satisfies production speed, cost, data management, and rights protection.

JANCTION is promoting the development of the distributed GPU cloud "JANCTION GPU Pool" and "GPX.LINK," which utilizes GPUs as nodes for distributed execution of high-load processing. It is working to establish an environment for utilizing computing resources in generative AI and creative production fields.

V01D is a creative company that visualizes the essence of brands through video production, visual design, and art direction, expanding value across creativity, technology, spatial experience, and platforms.

The purpose of this MOU is to combine JANCTION's distributed GPU infrastructure with V01D's expertise in the creative field, thereby co-creating an environment where creators can freely produce, announce, and utilize high-quality digital expressions.

Main Collaborative Contents under this MOU:

Feedback on the development of the distributed rendering application "GPX.LINK" V01D, as a design company and creative partner, will provide feedback on UI/UX, workflow, operability, output quality, and usage scenarios required at actual production sites for the distributed rendering application "GPX.LINK" that JANCTION is developing. By incorporating perspectives from video production, visual design, and art direction, the aim is to build a product experience that creators can intuitively utilize, rather than merely being a computing processing base.

2. Planning and holding joint contests for creators Both companies will consider planning and holding joint contests for creators in fields such as AI, CG, video, design, and 3D assets. By utilizing JANCTION's GPU resources and distributed rendering environment, the companies will provide a platform where creators can easily challenge high-load productions, thereby supporting the discovery of new talents, the creation of opportunities for work presentation, and the formation of creator communities.

3. Expansion of GPX.LINK utilization and customer development Leveraging V01D's network in the creative field and understanding of production sites, JANCTION will expand opportunities to propose GPX.LINK to client companies and creators. It will offer new options for distributed GPU utilization to users who require high-load processing and rendering environments, such as video production companies, design studios, CG production teams, AI creators, and businesses in advertising and branding.

4. Joint development of new products Both companies will also consider jointly developing new products on themes such as distributed GPUs, creative production, digital asset management, and community formation. By combining JANCTION's GPU infrastructure, blockchain, and data management platform with V01D's creative design, experience design, and brand building capabilities, the aim is to create new services that support creators in the AI era.
